Single Skin Copper Performance
Arizona State University’s Biomedical C Building is an example of how used single skin metal panels, along with other products, to meet building performance specs and design criteria. We worked with the architect, ZGF, to design a largely insulated metal panel building with a copper scrim that stood off from the primary wall about 24 inches. The perforated copper scrim elevated the aesthetics of the building to level we could not have been achieved with IMP alone.
