Project Exposure
Kovach interns have the opportunity to learn how major commercial building enclosure projects are planned, coordinated, fabricated, and installed. Interns may see how architectural metal panels, glass systems, and other exterior envelope components come together from concept to completion.

What You’ll Learn
Interns at Kovach are introduced to the skills, habits, and standards needed to succeed in the commercial construction and building enclosure industry. The experience is designed to help interns connect classroom knowledge with professional practice while gaining exposure to both office and field operations.
- How commercial building enclosure projects are planned, managed, and delivered
- Project documentation, communication, and coordination
- Estimating, preconstruction, and budgeting fundamentals
- Design, drafting, and detailing support
- Finance, accounting, and business operations exposure
- Jobsite safety expectations and field coordination
- Metal panel, glass, and exterior envelope system basics
- Team communication and cross-department collaboration

We are looking for interns who are dependable, curious, professional, and ready to learn. You do not need to know everything on day one. You do need to bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to ask questions, take direction, and contribute to a team.
