James Hatch is President and Chief Strategy Officer at Kovach Enclosure Systems, where he helps lead the company’s long-term vision, strategic growth, innovation, and client relationships across the building envelope industry. With more than 15 years of experience in architectural cladding and glazing, James is passionate about design and known for helping turn complex architectural concepts into high-performing, buildable façade solutions.

As part of Kovach’s executive leadership team and ownership group, James focuses on growth, recruiting and talent development, HR leadership, technology advancement, and strengthening partnerships with architects, owners, and general contractors nationwide. He plays a key role in aligning strategy, preconstruction, operations, and innovation to support Kovach’s continued expansion as a 100% employee-owned ESOP company.

James has extensive experience in curtain wall, window wall, storefront, insulated metal panels, rainscreen systems, sunshades, and architectural panel systems.

He also serves on several executive boards and university advisory committees supporting the future of the design and construction industry. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Design, from Arizona State University and is a licensed Arizona Real Estate Broker.

Most importantly, James is a husband and proud father of four beautiful children.
