Meaningful work to be done
Kovach is looking for experienced sheet metal installers to install pre-fabricated aluminum window frames, door frames, store fronts and curtainwalls on building fronts.
What you bring
- Have prior building and construction knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings and/or homes
- The ability to operate and control equipment and power tools
- Should understand blueprints and specifications to determine size, type and dimensions of panels; and be able to interpret drawings to establish location for staging materials and framing

Safety Coordinator
Here we grow again, Kovach is searching for a new Safety Coordinator to join our team in Chandler Arizona location due to our continued growth and expansion. The Safety Coordinator is responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and analyzing work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by physical, or ergonomic factors. May conduct inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals. May be employed in the public or private sector.

Job Requirements:
- Learn, adopt, and live up to our Mission Statement and Core Values.
- Have a great attitude, identify solutions, put in a full day’s effort.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English – Ability to communicate in writing as well.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a construction and industrial safety.

- Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Investigate accidents to identify causes or to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.
- Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
- Speaking — Talking to others to convey information effectively.
- Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Frequently involved in following set company procedures and compliance routines.
- Working with, communicating with, and teaching people on the job site safety protocols and rules.
- Problem Sensitivity — The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
- Order suspension of activities that pose threats to workers’ health or safety.
- Performs other duties as assigned relevant to the position and requirements of the company.
Physical Requirements: - Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and climbing, outside during high temperature and inclement weather is likely.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction sites.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times, up to 50 pounds periodically.
