Kovach Takes ICAN kids to a Phoenix Mercury Game

September 5, 2008

"Fourteen ICAN youth experienced an evening of a lifetime on Friday, September 5! They had front and second row seats, directly behind the player’s bench, to a Phoenix Mercury game. Before the game, they sat on the floor to watch the teams warm up at the shoot around…and had a group photo taken with Brooke Smith! On behalf of each of the kids who experienced an unbelievable evening, and the staff, our many thanks to Scott Bourdo for creating opportunities that these kids may never have had or have again! They will remember the evening for a lifetime!!! Scott’s graciousness is a testament to what it means when we say that ICAN can’t do this alone…it truly takes a community willing to share their friendship with these kids which opens opportunity for each of them! Thanks Scott!"

Kovach Charity Bowling Night.

The staff of Kovach Inc. bowled on February 22, 2008 to raise money for local charities. The winning team, Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, was able to donate $1000 to their charity of choice, Make-A-Wish Foundation.
